Privacy notice
Last updated: November 2026
This is the personal website of Attila Cseko (attilacseko.com). It is an information site. There are no user accounts, no logins and no payments. This notice explains the small amount of personal data the site handles and why.
Who is responsible
Attila Cseko is responsible for this website and for any personal data collected through it. You can contact me about privacy using the contact form on the home page or via LinkedIn.
What data is collected
- Messages you send. If you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address and message. The form is delivered by Web3Forms, a form-processing service, which passes the message on to me by email.
- Technical server logs. Like almost every website, the hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used only to run and protect the site.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or social media plugins, and it does not store anything on your device. All fonts and images are served from this website itself, so your browser does not connect to third-party services such as Google when you visit.
Why the data is used
Messages are used only to read and reply to your enquiry (legitimate interest in responding to people who get in touch). Server logs are used to keep the site running securely. Your data is never sold or used for marketing.
How long it is kept
Messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up conversation, and are deleted when no longer needed. Server logs are kept for a limited period set by the hosting provider.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your personal data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its use. To do so, get in touch using the contact form. If you are unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
